IIR at the University of Oxford, England


On May 15-18, 2013 IIR researchers – dr Bogusław Zaleski, dr Jakub Zajączkowski and mgr Aneta Haliżak paid visit at the University of Oxford. On May 16, 2013 they took part in the international conference on India in the Eyes of Others (World Perspectives on India's Global Role).

They held the following lectures:

  • Dr B. Zaleski – A Rising India – Polish Perspectives,
  • dr J. Zajączkowski – India: Emerging Power? Central European and EU Comparative Perspectives,
  • mgr A. Haliżak – Perspectives on Indian Art in Anglo-Saxon Museums: Passing Fashion or Promising Vision?

Moreover, on May 15 IIR researchers have participated in the seminar organized by Center for Contemporary India Research and Studies (Institute of International Relations, University of Warsaw) and Contemporary South Asian Studies Programme on Research and Teaching Update and Exchange Workshop.
